I play acoustic guitar. I'm a finger picking player; (finger nails). I buy a specialized fine sand-paper to use as a file. (all about tone). Once a nail broke and I thought why not try a press on nail. It worked fairly well. I prefer the real thing.
i don't like fancy nails. cut em, clean em and its all good. to each their own though. Im not about to tell a girl what to do with her nails but don't tap em.
Basically they're like stickers, but of better quality than stickers. You put them on your nails instead of nail-polish, and some are reusable. You could switch it up daily if you wanted.
They don't have to be. If done correctly. I don't use them, but some people do and I can't tell the difference between them and salon nails. Now, some, I can definitely tell that they are "Press-ons"!
I had no idea they were press-ons until she told me, I thought she got them done somewhere.
