One need only turn off their virulent 24 hour chucklehead fest of vitriolic, hate mongering news, which only focuses on this aspect of nature, and step outside, and actually talk to a human being to find this is so. It really is a lovely world filled with essentially good people. I'd say more like 85% good 15% hateful. The news would have us believe we're at a perpetual state of civil war.

I think pride and anger control more people than it should. If people were more accepting of each other for WHO they are we would have a lot less drama.

I don't know if the majority hates, but I also don't think so many want to get along either. I think they just want to get/acheive what they want more than anything.

For example, they once did a poll and found out that the majority of people in both America AND the Middle East just want to get along. They also found out that most people from the USA and the Middle East believe that Islam and the West can coexist peacefully. A lot of the hatred is spread by the military-industrial complex, because the militaries of the world are better off thinking you need them.

Well I am a bonist (the world is good but not perfect), so I like to believe that everyone wants to get along, but i dont know if that is true or not.

Well, I'm from L.A. (Lomita), and I live in Las Vegas, NV. My 30 year career had me living in 10 different states, and entirely different cities. I've lived and worked in virtually every type of environment the U.S. has to offer ranging from New York City to Kailua, on the windward side of Oahu. Small towns, and big cities. We have been friendly and open everywhere we've lived, and have received the same. Does that mean that I agree with everybody's life styles, political activities, etc? Absolutely not. But everywhere I've lived, if I grabbed 100 random people off the street, and lined them up, I guarantee that 15 or less of them would be mean, sour, buggers.

Haters have lots of places to voice their hate. People who just get along don't go around looking for places to voice their non-hate. It's a content issue.
