It is, although you may be falling in love with a fantasy. Even in person you don't always know what you're getting, but online it's easier for either or both of you to project a false, invented persona that may be difficult to live up to once the two of you meet in person.

Not REAL love. But you can fall in love over the Internet... but it's not official until you meet in person.

My boyfriend and I met in high school but lost touch for several years. We re-connected on facebook and started texting/calling for one month.

I was falling in love with him, and I was scared to meet him in person because I knew he'd have my heart if he was any bit as attractive as in his pictures. Well, we met, and he was even more attractive, and I fell in love on the spot. Three days later we were dating and we've been together over a year now.

To fall in love with someone, there needs to be something more than just a picture, some text, and at times the possible video. Spending time with someone doing activities on a day to day basis while actually having physical contact with the person are a great start. It is all a matter of chemistry and interaction outside of a computer to form a real love connection.

You cannot fall in love over the internet. You can meet people, get to know them (somewhat), but you would have to physically go out there and spend time with that person before falling in love.

I think you can. I mean, there is a person on both sides of the computer, it doesn't matter how you two meet, it matters that you click. you get to know the person's personality and stuff like that and then you meet them. or you meet them and then you talk to them and get to know them on the computer and you fall in love, either way, it is the person that you are falling in love with, the "how" part simply doesn't matter. if it is meant to be, it will be.
