Now if she slaps you, slap her back.

If she punches you, punch her with the same force.

Do not punch if she just slapped you, do not hit her harder than she hit you. If it comes to hitting and happens often, you may need to get counseling AND anger management.

If a man hits his wife I just do not see why she doesn't take frying pan or a baseball bat to his head while he is asleep. My wife told me that 45 years ago and I believed her. She has not hit be once.

No way, its not cool when a guy hits his wife. If anyone in my family did that to their wife i would hit them with sticks and then kick them where it hurts, and not just once quite a few times.

It is never okay for a man to hit his wife. Just like it is never okay for a woman to hit her husband.

Also not right for a woman to hit a man. Coming from a marriage where there was abuse I have the right to talk about this. I was helped by a group that was set up for battered spouses. Please note that I said spouses because there was a man in the group as well. They helped me to get my self respect and confidence and I was able to move on to a much better place. Not only are there injuries but there is a devastating mental effect. It simply should never happen and laws must be made tougher for any of this kind of activity and for the abused person after the abuse incident when the abuser continued to try to"get to me" to issue the punishment that was due to me for daring to cal the police. This is something that must stop; it is never right to hit anyone except in self defense.
