I'd say a tad bit too early. I wait till after Thanksgiving...my target being the first
week of December.

It's up to the consumer to try and ignore the Christmas decoration's and focus on Thanksgiving! Hopefully the merchants will get the picture and stop the nonsence!

As kids we used to look forward to Thanksgiving because it was the start of the Christmas season. It seemed like everyone was full of love and cheer. We were into the Christmas spirit. Now it is just a sales gimmick. Trees are out in the big box stores in late September. Kids lose the anticipation quickly and that was one of the biggest parts of fun we had.

I have mine up. did it while had some nice weather...but won't turn them on until day after Thanksgiving...they will go off a couple of days after New Years....
