Do you think girls are as good at video games as guys?

All those who take this question the wrong way, I'm not trying to be an ass, I'm on your side. I asked this because I was curious, guys get all pissed off when we beat them at games, I want to know what you think:) If you ask me, I say a lot of girls are awesome at games, its not about gender, but we all have opinions.

I don't believe it depends on gender but mainly on skill, technique and ability. Not all girls pick up barbies instead of controllers

Im a very hard gamer lol i lovee my video games (: i love Star wars games and sims games anything that i can go shooting in makes me happy lol (: but im also the sweetest person lol SMH

I think that girls are just as good as guys at video games, and the reason that a lot of people think that they aren't are the girls who see the need to spend more time pointing out the fact that they are a girl-gamer than they do actually playing the game.

I've beat plenty of boys at Golden Eye 007 in multiplayer, Guitar Hero, Super Smash Bros, and Super Mario Bros.

As far as I know, there's nothing in being male or female that would give one an edge over the other.

On the other hand, if one wanted to be asinine, between the misogyny and boy's club attitudes, there are still less female gamers than male gamers.

I think it's not about gender it's skills girls can play video games the same way boys can its no competition just fun a way to hang out and chill with the opposite sex

I'm a guy, but I've been thrashed by a couple of girls whilst gaming and they have every right to be as good as, or even better than us at games, as do we.

Yes, of course, they can be as goog as guys. But there are much more guys than girls who like to play video games. So some boys think they are better than any girl and it is fun to watch them being beaten by a girl. (I´m not good in video games but my cousin is and I laughed when I saw the expression on the face of this guy when she beat him, lol)

yeah they can be better than us if they are into games and if there not some can they have good reflexes and that really helps them be better gamers also we do that for a living basicly and girls actually have a life we got to be good aver the years and i know som girl gamers that are mad good at playing games I AM A GAMER AN I ADMIT IT i love resident evil games and i love girls that love resdent evil games or any zombie games there cool

I'd have to say no only because I think that girls don't reveal themselves as girls on video games (or the ones I play) simply because of how guys treat them when they find out they are girls, so I never know if whoever is doing good in a match is a guy or girl but either way it doesn't matter much. :$

I believe it depends on the individual as a player and not gender. Also, sometimes couples attempt to pull the slack for the other, so they feel included.

Possibly if they have brothers or guy friends to make them good at games. I have never played video games with my girl friends.
