Do you think girls are as good at video games as guys?

You should see my Raptr profile. Im girl and I proudly have over 100 hours of gaming, as I mainly play RPGs and FPS.

Considering the fact that I beat 7 guys at Saints Row, Halo, and Slayer and I out boss all my dude friends at Skyrim...hell yea! When chicks do stuff that guys do we take to extremes.

To answer the question as it was asked: yes. In general, I have observed that girls are just as good as guys at video games. I love playing video games. I don't always have the patience for them though.

It's not about gender! Both girl and guys can suck or be great at different games. But "Gurl gamers"? Tone it down you aren't better than anyone because you have a vagina.

Generally no. As a girl who plays games 24/7 so far all but ONE girl I have seen playing games are rubbish and only looking for attention from the other male players. "IMMA GURL AND I PLAY CALL OF DUTEH BUT I ALREEDY HAVE A BF SO DONT HIT ON MEH X3". Only one girl has come in to actually play and done well. That being said I don't really play CoD much. I prefer WoW, and so far am better than all the girls I know who play it (but again that's restricted to who I know) but even then boys are just generally better. My boyfriend could kick my ass any day, as could my other guy friend who plays. We could go back and forth but in the end he would probably win. Maybe we just aren't aggressive enough. That's my issue anyway. I play to my best when I'm pissed off as f*ck.

i think it all depends on how often you play such games i am a casual gamer and when i play online even on halo kids that have no reponsability and sit around playing all the time bet me all the time so gender really has nothing to do with it

I say gender has nothing to do with how well you play the game. i believe practice and knoledge of the game lets you do good at it.

In general, no. I'm sorry but it REALLY depends on context. I mean I go up against any girl at Halo 1 and they get utterly annihilated! But my ex (back when we dated) could not lose a game to me in Tony Hawk's Underground so it really depends. There are guys' games and there are girls' games. The hard part is knowing what is what.

41% of gamers now are girls :) So it isn't that huge a difference anymore. Girls are getting into it, though I daresay it's to impress other boys :/

Haha I can right off tell you that isn't true. I am shut in a lot just playing games and no one has described that as "ccute". I'm not at the big rave parties because I don't know the right people and I prefer being at home anyway. The so called "cute" gamer girls are the ones that never shut up and brag about it to no end, to impress boys and their sex appeal. Whereas I'm just "weird". Annoying idiocy is still annoying.
