Mitt Romney recently got booed at an NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) event when he told the audience that he would be the better president for African Americans. Do you think booing is appropriate at a political event?

If clapping and cheering is, then Booing is as well. This is America. Its free speech, and the first Amendment is there to protect all speech, popular and unpopular.

We've been conditioned to be far too "polite" these days, when we should be speaking our minds.

In the real world, it doesn't. Romney supporters, however, do not deal in reality.

Like the Democrats know what reality IS? Spending more money on the annual budget each year for four straight years and bring the National debt from around 9 trillion to over 16 trillion dollars as we speak.

    That’s statement is RICH with:

Because going from the largest surplus in US history to going to the deepest deficit in US history by going to two useless wars that dragged for a decade and enacting policies that are still in place and costing the US government tons of cash makes so much sense.

Have any of you republicans even HEARD of a timeline? ffs

Also, not a democrat either. America is a broken country and I'm planning on leaving it for a place with much more sensible people.

I'd wish people would do more than boo. Put these politicians on the spot, ask questions and require answers. Hold them accountable. Romney is well known for dodging questions that he doesn't want to answer.

It's rude and it shows that people perfer to remain ignorant and live in their fantasy worlds. If you listen to your opponants, you can learn from them and either find a new way to counter them or find common ground. Either way is good for you.

May sound rude but that's one of the few legal means to protest that we have left. :(

I think it's very appropriate, the people running for office should know what citizens really think of them since WE THE PEOPLE are the ones they should be afraid of. Speak up!

Ha! That's funny. You think the last election was fair? With the MSM and the Democrats blasting McCain and Bush who was coming OUT of office and they (MSM) couldn't find enough sweet thing to say about a man no one really knew anything about.

All they wanted to do was HYPE the first Black Democratic elected presidential accident so they could all could be so PC.

    You said:
"The republicans are getting a bit of their own medicine back".

That's Outrageous....!!! To the point of being the funniest one liner of the election year.

    OMG,...make it stop.

They only booed him when he mentioned obamacare. He should have said he'd repeal the 'affordable care act'. Any mention of obama in any context by Romney was going to get him booed. They are still hypnotized by obama despite him even though is a half white Muslim and can't empathize with black folks in America. I guess skin color does matter for folks that were in attendance.

Stick a sock in it. Like you libs need an excuse to play that card. As soon as you start losing a debate on facts you use it!

color has nothing to do with it, many of those people can probably see themselves finally affording healthcare, and they don't want to lose that.

Lady in your dreams healthcare will be more affordable. Anything the govt touches is fraught with inefficiencies, fraud and abuse.

no its not; a person has the right to have different outlooks on ideals, do not boo the party or the pollitition, use your vote to have your say, would you like someone to boo you on your ideals ?, very ill mannered

But he has lied, and often. Despite having lied a multitude of times to the American people while in office it sounds as I'd you are defending him. It speaks volumes about your lack of integrity as well as husseins.

Are you intoxicated with obamamania? You're high on something? Nobody has told lies and half truths more than this community organizer. Everything that comes out of his mouth with and without a teleprompter is deceitful, the press covers for him and you gullible people buy it. Think for a change
