Mitt Romney recently got booed at an NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) event when he told the audience that he would be the better president for African Americans. Do you think booing is appropriate at a political event?

If clapping and cheering is, then Booing is as well. This is America. Its free speech, and the first Amendment is there to protect all speech, popular and unpopular.

We've been conditioned to be far too "polite" these days, when we should be speaking our minds.

Because going from the largest surplus in US history to going to the deepest deficit in US history by going to two useless wars that dragged for a decade and enacting policies that are still in place and costing the US government tons of cash makes so much sense.

Have any of you republicans even HEARD of a timeline? ffs

Also, not a democrat either. America is a broken country and I'm planning on leaving it for a place with much more sensible people.

I'd wish people would do more than boo. Put these politicians on the spot, ask questions and require answers. Hold them accountable. Romney is well known for dodging questions that he doesn't want to answer.

They only booed him when he mentioned obamacare. He should have said he'd repeal the 'affordable care act'. Any mention of obama in any context by Romney was going to get him booed. They are still hypnotized by obama despite him even though is a half white Muslim and can't empathize with black folks in America. I guess skin color does matter for folks that were in attendance.
