I'm a big girl— 5'7" 238, and I've always been told that I "was pretty for a big/fat girl" as if there is some distinction. I also work in media, so my perspective is skewed. I think anyone "can" be beautiful, but you also wouldn't catch me DEAD in those bikinis those chicks were working in that video (on the same note, I don't think LeAnn Rimes looks good in a bikini either, so there ya go!

Not necessarily. Not all thin women are beautiful and not all fat women are beautiful. However, as far as I can see, most "plus size" women are average, rather than fat.

Why always take it to extremes? The thin woman is way too thin and the woman in the pink is too fat. People should be in the "normal weight range" which extends from quite thin to just a little bit chubs. Anything in that range is ideal. People who are defending "plus size women" are usually defending people who are in the normal range anyway.

I understand what you're saying love, but there are people who are not considered to be within the "normal range". Sometimes, it's not even their fault why they can't gain or loose weight. I just really have a problem with people who are nasty with their comments, to and regarding people whom they consider "not within this normal range".

Pretty much...you also must consider that the three obese women in the bikinis in another poster's post, are the extreme, just like the anorexic girl a couple of posts up. None of that is OK. I struggle with my weight, for my own personal vain reasons, but also because I don't want to be sick because of something I could've controlled. People are waaaayyy extreme. BTW - I don't think the girl in the pink is too fat. She looks happy and is probably healthy. But to each his own....
