Of course, everyone starts out single. Everyone finds their mate or whatever you want to call them in different ways. I have, been married to the Government for much of my life and forgot to have a social life so I am now trying to find a girl who wants to start a family and who will forgive me for being what everyone else thinks is too old to do that.

Why do people think everyone want to be in a relationship.Some people don't that doesn't make them bad or unloveable.I wanted to be single when I was in high school so everytime a guy or girl asked me out I said no.I am bi by the way.I am married now by I have single friends and they don't want to be set up with anyone and they are not bad people or unloveable.

No, everybody thinks that being single is horrible and they MUST set you up with someone. But in reality some people actually WANT to be single.

I was single for years but it was by choice. After 12 years of marriage it took me 20 years of being single to even try to keep someone around on a regular basis

In and of itself of course not. Some people love it a lot. Others want to have a spouse and family. Either way is fine. Do what you are comfortable with.

Being single can be good.. But it can be bad too...

Not at all. Being single has many upsides but it feels lonely if you're single for a long period of time. It's better to be single than to be with somebody just for the sake of having a relationship.

Being single just means you're strong enough to be your own person and that you don't need other people to think you're 'hot' and co dependent
