What's wrong with voluntary policies these days?? Photo's mandatory on sodahead LOL they aren't even mandatory on FACEbook! I voluntarily will show my face, (Or whatever else ;p) anyone wants to see, but not one damn thing they demand to.

Yes.
I would rather like to see a photo of the actual person, rather then some random individual's photo they found off the net.

But then again, i respect that people aren't always comfortable with displaying themselves, which is no problem :]

Absolutely not....I think it's nice to know who I'm talking to.But it's unnecessary and can sometimes even get in the way.if this was a dating site i would say yes.But share opinions,looks are irrelevant.

I like a picture too but if someone doesn't want to, so be it.
I like mine, it recognizes part of my heritage and is easy to spot, but that's my option.
I always vote for "choice" I'm kind of big on being able to decide for ones' self. All about one's personal choice.

like some said, putting up a photo doesnt mean that it is truly them. And with that, there are people who do not want people to know what they look like. Like me for instance, i have rules i go by and that is one of them. Now if we kept this up, then everything we do would have to be confirmed and who in the hell wants to do that? I just dont get why people do not want to take a few minutes of who they are talking to, and figure out their personalities and see if they are even truth worthy or not. It's not that hard to do.

How could you possibly know who your talking to from a photo. How the hell would you verify that the photo posted was the actual photo of the person posting it. Sorry never work and a complete waste of time.
