I don't get what the big deal about swear words are. They are just words, and who decided they were bad and offensive anyway? What if right now I decided that the words flower, blanket, lamp, and frazzle are offensive to me, would they then count as swears?
I actually don't! I have a little sister and I don't want it to become a habit...I don't think Im better than anyone because of it though, swearing is fine! :>
All the time. I don't see the problem with "swear words", though. They're just words. We, as a society, have given them negative connotations. And I dont't understand why it's okay when people use tame equivalents like "shoot" or "freaking". You're putting the same emotion behind the word so why is one acceptable and the other one taboo?
On occasion. I am generally soft-spoken, and I try not to curse, but sometimes it slips. I have never said f, either c, or any other sex-related swear words.
Yes, and as a result, we now have a "swear jar" in our house to collect $1.00 each time we say bad words. You wouldn't believe how full that sucker gets within a week's time...especially when my wife is driving our son to school.
