It was my honor and privilege.

The only members of my family who have not served are my daughters; my son is in the navy, my brother and I were in the army, my father served with the army and the merchant marines in WW2, and my mom was civilian army.

Thank them and you for their's and your Service.

Absolutely! I support and respect them for their service and sacrifice for our country. Their families as well.

It will be a cold day in hell when I don't. Those men and women deserve all we can give to them. My nephew is a Marine and the whole family is bursting with pride. I do have an issue with their Commander and Chief, though! A bit of a dumb-ass!

Yes sir! Any way I can. From donations to education, it's MY duty to try and make sure our brave men and women have as much support as possible. I just don't understand how people can agree to sacrifice their lives to defend our liberties, only to have people use those same liberties to talk trash about the people who have secured them. It's sickening...

I support good troops. I don't support bad troops. Just because a job is hard, dangerous, or "in my national interest", which politics these days makes sure it isn't... doesn't change the fact that the military is made of individuals like any organization. I knew a guy to joined the military because "he wanted to shoot ragheads". I don't support him. He is a douche.

That killing someone is a last resort for most and not a first? That it comes with the territory of the job? Perpetual truths that also serve as excuses. There are some very poorly educated, highly religiously indoctrinated people out there that are by any definition primitive in their thinking, they want to hurt us simply because we don't believe in what they do. However they also see our involvement in their politics in order to place dictators in where we need access to resources as a threat as well. Our wars these days are about both sides being the bad guy, so it's hard to support an organization that perpetuates an unresolvable conflict simply because "they are just doing what their told." All I need to support our troops is for the troops, from the lowest to the highest level to stand up to the politics that are making their own lives difficult. That being said, this is all about american troops. Other countires have entirely different agenda's and don't throw their soliders lives away over the bottom line of haliburton. Nothing like war to use mankinds finest to do our worst right?
