It will be a cold day in hell when I don't. Those men and women deserve all we can give to them. My nephew is a Marine and the whole family is bursting with pride. I do have an issue with their Commander and Chief, though! A bit of a dumb-ass!

YES! I appreciate so much how they defend this country, sad to say however there are some who are so ungrateful that they don't realize that even their freedoms are helped being protected by the military.

Yes. Give them a pay raise and better medical. Retired vets should not have to pay taxes for life.

one million % YES. They are the greatest forces in the world. They make the most sacrifices in America. It is a shae that their CinC wouldn't make a few sacrifices on his own. Today OBUMMER is in Paris and having a fund raiser with Clooney again. Oh that foreign money..

Absolutely, my grandfather served in Korea and was a navy sub pilot. He worked with Carl Brashear in recovering the missing bomb before the Russians did.I'd join myself, but due to huge back issues the Marines won't accept me. God Bless all who serve.

100%. Raised in a military family and stayed in the military community for half of my lifetime. Miss it still, with its fantastic mix of characters, the varied backgrounds and the ease with which I felt their friendship. Civilian life has been much more testy in comparison. Not bad, mind you, but not as good as military communities. I've always found it far easier to mingle in a military crowd versus civilian.

I support the troops, but not necessarily the politicians behind them pulling the strings or the war itself.

My uncle was a marine. He served in the Korean War and was paralyzed on his left side. He was a very active man until he died.

Some of them are fine people and all (I have a cousin who's a career man), but no, there's just been too much evil that America has committed in the past decade against sovereign countries and against innocent civilians, and I think the only way those of us who are pro-peace can seriously expect to effect change is to withdraw all support for the enlisted people themselves, because they're the ones who are fighting the campaigns and ultimately committing the atrocities.

For a long time I, like so many Americans, said, “Well, yeah, I don't support the wars but I support the troops,” but now I see that attitude as just being one of fear – one that we've been programmed to default to should we have reservations, because it doesn't make any waves and because it lets us feel 'good' and 'moral' while nevertheless being wholly complacent; while the evil continues.
