No, the Institution of Marriage gets beat-up enough as it is; it's no use in our just totally, totally ignoring what it's really all about; especially when it's based on political reasons (excuses).

    What a load of manure!
What you are seeing is lust, not love.

It is DEFINITELY NOT LUSTFUL for a couple of grown-men to jack-each-other-off; hence, your Question makes a lot more sense than the Original Question, here. So, you might have something, there.

Would you feel the same way if the couples were heterosexual?

Sodahead consists of mostly old geezers who jump to conclusions without any proof. I see one here.

hahaha WOW. you are severly misled. jumping to counclusions? not in the least; merely stateing an honest, POLITE opinion. old? again, no. i am by NO streach of imagination "an old geezer", merely someone more informed and mannered than yourself. sarcastic have a nice day

With your amen, you were assuming me to not follow my train of thought with heterosexuals which I indeed did. So, touche, Sir.

Musty language is an understatement indeed.

if it were a picture of say, a boy kissing a girl with very short boyish hair, would you say the same if you couldnt tell? i dare to assume you would. or if it were even just a boy and girl making out? that too is "lustful" but if it's heterosexual, is it acceptable? and disuse makes far less sense than misuse, or inactivity or nelect perhaps?

Look at the last comment by me, for goodness sake, before you dig a bigger idiotic hole for yourself.
That is what I was explaining but obviously, you stubborn old mule didn't bother to put aside your shallow perspective.
Lust is lust, be it either homophobic or heterosexual. I didn't say it was okay for heterosexuals, idiot.

obviously you did not look at the picture properly either then. they are homosexual couples.hence, your comment was clearly misleading and you didnt say that it WASN'T okay for heterosexual couples either therefore, what you said can be interprepreted differently than you ment. and lust isn't homophobic, that's the fear of homosexual people, illiterate.

I think that generalization is unfair, dear. I am one of those "old geezers" and fully support the rights of all (hetero, homo, bi, trans) to love and marry (religiously and legally) those they choose. So, be careful about those generalizations.

Marriage is meant to be between a man and a woman. You know the saying: God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. I have friends that are homosexual and that's their business. It's not my place to judge. However, I think it goes against God.

The Bible also says not to judge and that God has a plan for every man and woman alike; hence, He knew what was going to happen with these people, and He loves them as much as He loves His own son. The issue with homosexual is painfully stemmed from caucasian people's fear of people different from them; and I am white, I'm not being racist or sexist or anything. This is just how I see things, I mean no offence.

  • Getting... Hooblie 2012/04/22 01:51:55
    GettingBarried
hehe understandable. I think the issue mostly comes from the USA being the free society it is. Everyone is supposed to get a fair shake at whatever they want. The problems arise from the legalities that are brought to bear. IMO, homosexuality is simply a choice (conscious or unconscious) and any laws supporting it would be wrong because it is a choice. Being a woman or black or asian is genetic. Being gay isn't. Making laws based on lifestyle choices is irresponsible since repercussions are generally never thought of and when they rear their ugly heads, it is always too late to 'fix'.

Correct me if I'm wrong but The Old Testament and the new Testament of the Bible is vastly contradicted itself. I would rather stick with the New Testament, though. Or as I like to call it: The happy ending of the Bible :)

We will evolve past the idea of monogamy and matrimony. In the mean time, if anyone wants to get married let em.
