and i 've heard that is also unhealthy to sleep with light because your eyes don't rest enough! (Except maybe if it is a very little light somewhere in a wall, but again i prefer to sleep without light)
I have to sleep without a single little light in my room.
I keep awake in bed every night until my roomie finishes her reading and turn her little light off.
That's not good. When I'm alone in a hotel room I don't dare to turn the light off. It's scary. But I can't sleep with the light on.
I'm a very early riser...around 4:00am every morning. I use the night light so I don't disturb my still sleeping husband by tripping around the bedroom.
I sleep with the light on. Night lights aren't bright enough. Waking up from nightmares in a dark room, or even a dimly lit room is terrible. Almost all of my dreams are nightmares. I have noticed that when I try to sleep without enough light, they happen even more frequently than usual and are more intense.
Its technically *not* a nightlight, because its my iPod charger, but its a glowing cube and I leave it on all the time, so it might as well be a night light...
I have always kept a night light on when I go to sleep and I always will. There is nothing worse
than getting up in the middle of the night and banging into a wall or stubbing your toe on the furniture ! It's also good to have on in case you awaken from a bad dream or with anxiety !
I need near total darkness to fall asleep. I do always keep a 4W lightbulb on in the hallway so I can see when I get up. I never turn the light off since the element in them lasts longer that way. My electric bill still stays under $20 a month regardless of doing this.
I sleep with a black light on because I have a bunch of glow-in-the-dark, and black light reactant stuff on my walls and ceiling, not because I'm afraid of the dark.
