Do you remember when children used to use "A MILLION DOLLARS" as if it was a big deal.

Yesterday I happened to be listening to two younger children in my community fighting over who would win the world series. I heard one child say "I'll bet you a gazillion dollars the Dodgers win."
It prodded me to thinking, remember when a million was a large sum and a billion was something unheard of?

Ah, the days of leaving in the morning, and being back by dark, without any concern for what was lurking around the corner, to be young again!!!reply - Sister Jean 2012/06/26 14:29:44No, your time has past Grandpa.+1noreply
