My brother and I watched Davy Crockett re-runs all the time...I remember my brother had the whole Davy Crockett costume including the coon-skin cap, until our dog ate it!

Yes,I do remember him,great actor,but they had him typecasted shame real tallent in Fess Parker,in you can watch the reruns of Gunsmoke. Check your local listings for times.I don't want to give the wrong network that the show comes on.

I know the name. Only because in an Episode of the Golden Girls, Dorothy says she hates being in home movies because she always comes out looking like Fess Parker. Haha...so funny.

I sure do. He played Davy Crockett for Disney in the 50's and every kid had to have a coon skin cap in those days
