Also, critics tend to have an inflated sense of the value of their own analysis and almost purposely give reviews that go over the heads of average movie-goers, who just want to see a freakin movie with a good story, not get into deep philosophical, artsy-fartsy, metaphors and commentary on society crap, or parse the quality of the special effects. - lucythetooth 2011/03/22 23:31:50no+1I read the description of the movie to see if it's something I might want to watch, but I find that I hardly ever agree with movie reviewers. If they absolutely love something and say it's the greatest movie of all time, I find it mind-numbingly boring. Flip side, if they pan the movie and say it's complete garbage, I enjoy it immensely.
