Yep i do.
and if you are in an elevator with tons of other people, push and hold the "close door" button while pressing the floor you want. It will take you directly to your floor, passing everyone elses choices, lol.

Nah. I'm the kind of person who is never in a hurry, but get where I gotta be fast. If I was an elevator I'd go slow just to annoy people stressing over the time. They wouldn't get away with pushing my buttons.

I must also admit to being one of those bastards who presses ALL the buttons just before I leave the lift.
Not much of a problem in Derby, not many buildings over 4 floors. I imagine I would be deported or worse if I did that in an American skycraper.

NO - Once the light comes on it makes no difference how many times you press it! Back in the days of elevator operators each time you pressed it a signal alerted the operator to stop at a specific floor. Another job gone do to automation.
