Girls usually bring too much drama with them, and that's coming from a girl. Guys are awesome and much more laid back usually. Even flamboyant men are more of a joy to hang out with than most girls.

I can't stand when girls say that about girls. Then have the nerve to say guys don't bring drama. Guys can be (if not a little more) just as moody and drama filled as girls. I've hung around more guys in my life then girls and once I thought the same thing. The things that make drama may be different but the amount of is can be the same...

I have guy friends I've known almost as long as I've been in FL(28yrs).But,I have always gotten along well with chicks too.It's just tougher to maintain friendships with chicks when you're in a relationship.Someone always gets jealous.

I used to think I could only be good friends with guys because I'd never really clicked with a girl before, which I didn't like, since I'm a girl, and sometimes you need to talk to a girl. But recently I met a great girl and we clicked. In fact, she's practically my twin in many ways. :D So now I have to say both. I think it's good to have that balance, anyway, and I'm happy I finally found it. No offense to my guy friends! :P

I grew up with three brothers which, I believe, formed my young adult preference to be
friends with boys. As I matured I could see where I had more in common with women so
most of my friends began to be women. Today, I understand that both sexes share
commonalities as human beings so now I have about the same number of friends who
are male as those who are female.

I'll be friends with anybody who deserves it.

Does anyone remember the schoolyard, and how some boys and girls in your youth (and maybe not-so-youth) would go 'EW BOYS!' or 'GIRL COOTIES!' or a variation of such? I honestly never understood it. Girls and guys were equally cool and jerks. And being a kid who didn't understand the whole ickyness, I just... Ignored it.

Then again, I've never had that many friends. Still don't.
