Girls: They can be rude and moody and stab you in the back so hard the knife never comes out. But they relate to you and a lot of the time share opinions and ideas like only a fellow female can.
Boys: Nice, friendly, sweet, admirable. But sometimes they expect you to like them as more than a friend, especially when you aren't ready.

Don't get me wrong, I have a couple close female friends that I've known forever and I love them to pieces, but I still would rather hang out with a group of guys than a group of girls. In my experiences, girls are too insecure and catty and they tend to start drama over the stupidest things.
Most of my close friends are guys and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Most girls are too needy, IMO. If you don't talk to them every day or so they think you're mad. Which is why I LOVE my BFF. We can not talk IRL for years but she'll still drive 3 hours to take me to the Dr.

Both sides have their ups and downs. Some women are catty and some men would rather be more than just friends. But I generally prefer being friends with men because there's no sense of competition when you're with the opposite gender.
