Not talking about the girls who legit grew up with, have always befriended, and like, are truly a friend. I'm talking about the preppy girls who want an excuse to be with loads of guys at once.

I love my guy friends AND girl friends. like, why not have both?

Without a doubt, both. I love all my girlfriends and guyfriends. As long as they are honest, compassionate, fun, loyal, good sense of humor and just nice people.

IMO a guy needs to hang with his bros sometimes. It's a completely different kind of relationship. We make fun of each other, act like morons, and have some laughs. I have some girls who are friends but they all started out as girlfriends. I don't think I ever started a completely non sexual relationship with a female. Female friends are cool too, just different.

But most of my friends were guys; probably because that once I got to college, away from my hometown, I found that girls were pretty mean and catty and were nothing like the girls that I hung out with at home.

I like girls, so if all things being equal I'm gonna hang out with one of them over some other stinky hairy dude.

Not that I don't like guy friends, but they're usually only "cool" until a girl walks into the room. With very few exceptions...those exceptions are still my friends.

I actually prefer working with men.. yes I'm sexist! But men don't have that once a month bloat, and its so amazing to me how when a bunch of women work together, their cycle gets syncronized and you have a million bitchy attitudes coming at you all at once. And yes I'm a female type person.. still prefer working with me. I have lots of men friends, and only a few women that I call friends.

i just read some of the comments, and it looks like guys think that girls are more dramatic, and girls think that boys are... boy-ish.
i like hanging out with both. i personally don't like girls who cause a lot of drama, and my girl friends are a bit of tomboys, mixed with girly accesories. my guy friends are typical boys - they swear, and like fighting. but they like hanging out with us girls, cuz they know we don't cause drama :) it can sound a bit complicated, but we like eachother

Guys are easy to hang out with, don't cause as much drama and aren't as materialistic as girls I've tried to make friends with... But I've met some pretty shallow guys, too...My 2 best friends are women, and the few women who are my friends are Awesoome. The women who I am friends with have been in my life since high school and some of the best people I could ever hope to meet. So, I guess I'd change that vote to Both...it just depends on the caliber of people you choose to include in your life...

I have some friends who are girls that are just so awesome, we haven't had a fight in years and I'm proud to be friends with them cause I see all these other girls bitching and fighting with each other.. I like guys in some aspects.. it depends because I try to avoid some guys because they will start to flirt with me and it gets annoying.. But yeah =]

I get along with men a whole lot better than women. I just do. I've tried to have female friends but it rarely goes very far. Right now I've got 3 female friends, my gay niece who's like a daughter, my step daughter and fellow singers in the Chorale I sing in but I'm still closer to the men. It's exactly the reverse with my adopted son. We're both gay and all his girl friends as actual girls.

I like to be friends with both this way whenever I'm in a relationship with someone theirs no way he can accuse me of cheating! I'm not saying my boyfriend does it jus makes it alot easier to be friends with both guys and girls.
