I used to be a dog person, but now they are a lot of work. (we have 2 house dogs) and I'm ready for a doggy break. Cats are nice other than the fact that they are not snuggly pets when you WANT them to be snuggly pets.

Actually, my pet of choice is a rat. I have 2 and I LOVE them to pieces. Rats are awesome. So are mice and guinea pigs. I'd have any of them.

I love both equally and differently. We have dogs because my husband it terribly allergic to cats. We have lap dogs, which I love. They are real snugglers. With cats, they can be very aloof, the aren't out to please. Dogs are more flexible but require more care.

I am a cat lady. I have two beautiful Siamese cats that I love so much and who mean the world to me. I will always have cats. I love dogs too but cats win my heart !

If I'm forced to choose between the 2 then I'll take cats. They're easier to maintain. But I like dogs and cats the same. They both make great pets

I'm definitely a cat person, but I have nothing against dogs and they seem to like me quite a bit. I love cats' general attitude so much though; aloof, quirky, and flirty make a great combo...
