    For me, no. For my 2 year old daughter, yes.
    Although recently I gave her apple slices with the peel still on them. She ate the apple clean down to the skin and left the peels only. I don't think I could have gotten an apple peeled that cleanly if I tried! I mean, it was so close, the peel was translucent!!!

    I noticed the same thing with my daughter, she is 11 months old. Its like she managed to dissolve the apple and leave the skin

    Most of the nutrician is on the inside of the skin. That's where all the benifits of eating an apple is.

    Unless it's being used for baking I see no real reason to. I can digest it without getting an upset stomach. I like the extra crunch. I think it taste better that way also.

    Yeah, Honey crisps have a short window but when they are in, they are soooo good.

    I slice my apples into wedges, and I like that little bit of skin. It adds some bitterness in there to counteract the sweet.

    When I was little I didn't like the peel, so my mother wouldn't let me have apples, other than applesauce. When I grew up I discovered green apples and I like them, peel and all.

    I do, mainly because you never know what the heck happened to those apples till they got in your hands, and no matter how well you wash them the pesticides will still remain... so I feel safer eating them like that. But I also have a hard time chewing the apple peel, I very often choke on it o.o So I feel safer either way.

    When I was young I ate apples include the skin because it was the best part...now I peel them off for my kids and grandkids because due to the exposure of pesticides. Although peeling an apple may not eliminate all of the pesticides since some can penetrate into the body of the apple, but it should lower their levels.
