My toenails I keep painted, but nailpolish wouldn't last on my fingers.. The craziest I'd go on my fingers would be French tips but since my nails are long and polish doesn't last with my chemical and mechanical work, it isn't worth it.

They have this issue with splitting and I have an issue with biting. So I usually paint them clear and if I get bored I'll pick a color too.

Not for every day. Only for costumes or special occasions. Even then, if I don't have to paint my nails, I skip it. It's such a pain, and the upkeep is ridiculous. I mean, who has time to sit down and fix their nails every other day? And when it gets chipped, it has to go or be touched up because it looks trashy if you just leave it.

No thanks, I'll stick to clear polish or none at all if I can.

I hate the way they look when they start to chip or peel. I think it is disgraceful to go around, or let your children go around un groomed. Same as having dirty nails.
