Mondays used to be "THE DREADED DAY" for me! But now that I'm retired, life has gotten a little better. I've been retired for a while, but I still get nightmares about my job~~~~~Yes! It was THAT BAD!!!!! Being assaulted by a client, not having security around when you needed them; clients coming in with knives and air guns or just mentioning the word "gun" made everyday a living nightmare!!! Sometimes I wake up thinking I'm still working in that dreadful place!!!! And then I see my dog, and I relax........and remember.......I'M RETIRED........
I used to look forward to Mondays as a child because it meant back-to-school or back-to-work. With the way things have been over the last two years (and especially the last year), I haven't looked forward to Mondays so much.
I used to feel EXACTLY like that!!!!!! Sundays were depressring because I KNEW MONDAY was approaching much too quickly!!!!!! And ALL that paperwork, clients, jammed copier, non-stop phone calls, etc.......!!!!!!!!
I have been a poster child for "The Great Recession", Sister Jean. I haven't had a regular job that has lasted in the last 3 years and my income has been terrible for 5. So, while I may have answered differently 5 years ago, right now Mondays have no real significance to me. In fact, for much of the time outlined I would have to work weekends and Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday would be days off. So, anyone who hates Mondays right now is, in my book, lucky.
Did not make a difference in my job most of the time. Monday is just another day when you work in Hospitals. As a school nurse beginning full time in the seventies it was truthfully a joy to go to work. I loved the energy at schools.
Not especially. I don't hate them, either. Tomorrow won't be so bad because it's the last day of school and an early dismissal, so I can do half my day's work at home.
any other Day of the Week
Sure I Do..I appreciate a Good Beginning ..
Yes...Yes...I do.!!
I'm not sure why.
