When I was a kid, I used to like tea with a LOT of lemon in it. One day I made a half tumbler glass of instant tea and added lemonade to the other with just a teensy bit of sugar. I really liked it and made it that way for years. One day I was at a restaurant and asked the waitress to make me some tea just like that. She replied, "Oh, you want an Arnold Palmer."

"No, I want a glass half tea and half lemonade."

"That's what an Arnold Palmer is."

"You've got to be kidding. I have been drinking my iced tea that way for 30 years and now it has a name. Go figure."

Gotta be sweet. I went to a friend's house and their dad was a serious tea drinker...think he had some imported from china or something lol He gave another friend and I some flowery blend and said we could add some sugar if we must, but it was delicious on its own.....it tasted like grass and dead leaves lol. Tried to finish it , but I think I hid the cup somewhere or something lol

I can't stand straight tea :s I don't like that pink-packet stuff either, and if it's iced tea, straight sugar won't dissolve right, plus it takes TONS of sugar to get it sweetened properly... honey's good, but again, it takes a lot.... Stevia is a dang miracle.... I use splenda or blue packets if stevia isn't available though..

When I was a kid my mom stuck me on Weight Watchers. The only sweetner available was saccarhine. Yuck! I learned to eat and drink a lot of things without sweetner. Iced tea is great with just a little lemon and no sweetner.
