Nope, I have never liked it, but have become accustomed to it. I hated it as a child because it is one of those gender neutral names and I was teased a lot. I would have killed for a nice feminine name.
Yep. It's a common name, though. I hear "Courtney!" In public, turn around, realize it was for someone else. But it's cool. My mom liked it, I love it. It's better than some stupid, out-of-this-world name like Lakeesha, or Maranatha.
i do like my first name but its very common for people my age....i love my middle name though :] i think it is pretty but its also common just not AS common. thats why i would put alot of thought into my kids names
My first name is fairly unique and has universal meaning, though there are other more common versions of the same name. Nearly every language has a word for the meaning of my first name. My middle and surname have a lot of history.
my name means the sound of a pigeon and every time i know new people they always say oh that means....blah blah blah. and its so unfair that my parents didn't pick the sound of anything else......or no sounds at all ^^ but its not really that bad either i guess.
Actually yes ..
Unusual, hard to pronounce .. definitely always unique ..
I've enjoyed the fact that folks stumble across it (especially teachers) ..
I always know when someone comes across my name ..
They may try .. most just spell it out ..
It is ME!
Yes, I love Jennifer Lynn my mom was gonna name me Stella Mae.LOL! I would have changed my name for sure. I know Jennifer is super common but given the choice I'm glad with what I ended up with. :)
except it's always misspelled
