well, a lot is a strech. when i do, its only a page or so, and its all broken. but if i actually take the time to sit down and connect it all, id have a full trilogy
I'm a devoted, unrecognized and unpublished writer :)
I'm currently writing three stories (books) and I've written various poems (all horrible, but oh well.)
Yeah, but I only write from time to time depending on the mood.
Writing is a great means of expression, and it can be wonderful therapy. I'm trying to muster the ambition to write a book about the countless lessons my parents taught me which equipped me with the beliefs and character to have led a successful adult life.
When I was the managing editor/writer for an antiques newspaper, I really enjoyed it. I traveled all over the state to different antique shops and wrote featured articles about them.
Now, I only write when I really feel passionate about something.
Interesting :) My grandmother actually owns an antiques shop here in Portugal. What else fo you really like to write about? What is it you feel passionate for when it comes to writting?
Yeah, I was baptized catholic, however at a certain time in my short life lol. I have realized I was no longer a believer, I prefer what science has to offer. I don't have anything against religious people, only those who use God as an excuse to judge others, or to do certain actions.
Science and faith aren't mutually exclusive you know. :) There is some interesting reading at this site: http://www.godandscience.org/. You may enjoy it. Then again, you may not. LOL
I went through a few years of doubt myself. I started doing a lot of research which resulted in my becoming a devout follower of Christ.
I know, according to a friend of mine who is Catholic, goes to church every week and the last celebration he has to do is the marriage when it comes to it. I don't know the names of the celebrations in English like the 1st comunion? and second? and then crisma? I don't know... lol. According to him science and religion can co-exist. According to a philosophy teacher of mine with whom I agree, he claims whenever there is a science breakthrough religion has to take a few step backs. Example: In Christ's time if you had hysteria or tourette's syndrome it meant you were posessed, so when science covered it they had to step back on it, and the Catholic church is really nice and open about change.
Don't get me wrong, I believe I follow more of Christ teaching that a lot of self proclaimed christians

Faith is great, can also be dangerous if in the wrong people, just like anything else in life.
