Yep, enjoy the lottery, slots, roulette, blackjack, and poker when i can get to a gambling state. We have the lottery and OTB on horse-racing, but no casinos.
It seems like such a waste of money. Most of the time you can't possibly win and yet you can't stop because you've lost some and want to get it back. Too risky.
You don't like to gamble? I like to play penny poker here at home and I like to play the slots sometimes at the casino. The last times I've played I've won quite a bit, and I never lose over my limit. I play with sense.
Wouldn't we all. lol The last time I played, I put in $1.00...nothing, put in another $1.00 and hit for $100.00. I was stunned. Played another $5.00 and hit for $69.00. I quit, we came home. We were only there about 1/2 hour. And haven't been back since. lol
I don't really but I had one really good time in the casino on a cruise I took 12 years ago. Fun, fun, fun....other than that I'm not really a fan. It's just not my thing
I don't go to the local casinos much anymore. 10 years ago I would go maybe once a month and never take more than 50.00 - 100.00 with the attitude that diner and concert would cost about the same so it's entertainment. I have made some decent money (300.00 - 500.00) playing dice in the past.
It can be fun, so long as it only uses my disposable income. I like the occasional card game, but I take care to only take a set amount into the casino and leave my bank card at home.
7 come 11 one time!
(But, I wouldn't mind gambling if it were with..M&Ms; or something!)
I've seen the damage that Gambling can bring to those around the one who does gamble ..
it is definitely a horror you'd not wish on anyone ..
