Well, might I just say I am so sorry you carry such a heavy burden at such a young age and I am going to wish you all the best there is that you overcome your fears, or whatever it is that causes you to hurt yourself. My prayers go out to you, sincerely.

So since drawing helps, might I suggest you take the time and effort to think and plan out some unique and interesting art pieces, perhaps develop your inner artist. And throw in a periodic mosaic of humor. Heck, if you have to do it, you might as well do a great job of it, right?

God bless you, little one, and don't despair. Greater things are in the offing for you, I feel it in my old bones. Smile and hang in there!

I thank you very much, what a lovely thing to say to me. I just try to say what's in my heart, and that posting kind of tugged at the old heart strings pretty hard. I hate reading things from people who are not experiencing the beauty that life can give, even in the face of adversities. Face it, not a single human being escapes this life without something rotten happening to them in their lifetime. It's how we handle those bad times and what we come away with as far as learned lessons and understanding that makes all the difference in the world. And when people are down like she was, sometimes it helps for somebody to offer a shoulder to cry on and a little support for the tough road she's got to travel to get out of the slump she's in. Believe me, I come away with just as much benefit from offering that support as she may get from receiving it.

yeah they both work. sometimes if its stubborn i use rubbing alcohol and that works too.

I do...a lot for the same reason. Yet lately I draw more on paper in random patterns to control my perfectionism. If I mess up it's in sharpie so you can't really go back, you must modify it or leave it. For me it's a kind of therapy if I think about it like that.

mmm i see ive been going since a few years ago and it doesnt really help except for tips on how to stop cutting. yeah.

I know how that goes. I went to a counselor because I was having horrible thoughts about myself and other people in my life, and I wanted to keep them from becoming reality. It didn't help at all, in fact it made me more upset than I already was and it took my boyfriend until 5 in the morning to talk me down. (It happened the morning before) I've never really trusted anybody after that episode. So I just try new things and see if they make me feel better or not.
