"Liking" someone and "loving" someone are two entirely different things! You can like a person without being in the slightest bit in love with them.Also it is quite possible to love a person without particularly liking them. In ' matters of the heart'-in my experience, anyway-things can get very complicated!
Obviously, of course, the ideal situation arises when not only do you love a person but you actually like them into the bargain. Then you have the ideal recipe for happiness...!!

Most of the time. 97 % of the time. I love my kids, but sometimes I don't like the behavior they have.
As I have told all my kids "I may not like what you are doing, but I will ALWAYS love you."

As a parent, you always Love your children,, but sometime during their 'growing up' stage you dont like what they have done or said..Im I am pretty certain my parents thought the same of myself and my siblings :))

I used to sometimes tell my children that although I loved them with all my heart and that would never change I didn't like them very much when they did bad things. To think that mummy might not like them for doing certain things was all the punishment they needed most of the time.
