Yep, it was Ringo Starr. They took the clip from when he was angrily ranting right before he quit the band (obviously he came back shortly afterwards though). That's why "Back in the U.S.S.R." and "Dear Prudence" were drummed by Paul McCartney instead of Ringo.

Of course, I was a teenager when the Beatles arrived in the USA, so I was an instant fan. But because they are/were all talented musicians and made a tremendous impact on the modern music scene, I have remained a fan. Paul and Ringo are still churning out excellent music. And nothing will ever top John's "Imagine".
