I like most, though there are a few that are annoying little babies that need to delete their SH and go back to the Dora fansite. I have some good friends that are teens and we have fun and some good chats

Today teenage people get a very bad press.

Yes there are many who drink too much.

Smoke too much.

Take illegal drugs.

Yes there are many who are violent and out of control.

There are many involved in crime.

And are lazy or get pregnant too early.

But the vast majority are clean, healthy, hard working/studying teenagers who will one day run the world.

I can only say that I believe these youngsters will make a better job of it that we oldies have.

I like my teenagers. Some teenagers today have to many issues that even mine find them to be full of to much drama.

Well, first, I am on my last year of teen age, so I am surrounded by older teenagers. And some of them can be quite insecure, attention-seeking, and noisy, but some realize that high school conduct is often not appropriate for other parts of life!

Of course they are full of life, music style and are our future. They are fun most of the time. Of course I am biased my grandson is and outstanding teen.

I raised 5 and they all became teenagers. While I was forced into hostility many times during those periods I still loved them..........But, that was a somewhat different time frame. Now, some of these teens make you dislike them... A lot.

I get along great with them but I haven't got any of my own, And in groups of tourists or from the larger cities visiting our coastline they can be very anoying and rude in public.

If you tenderize then marinate overnight teenagers can be DELICIOUS!

Seriously though, as a Scout and Venture leader I have seen many teens being exemplary citizens and role models for younger kids (and some adults too).
On the other hand, my home sits on the bee line between the local High School and the subway. I get to see, and hear some teens at their worst too.

I like them when they are polite, honest and dress correctly. (no pants on the ground or sideways hats) I also like them when they are mowing my lawn or doing other menial tasks that I am tired of doing.
I liked them a lot better when I was one.

They are people too -- they are just going through that trying time that all of us older people have already experienced. I'm 50, going into that old person stage -- I just hope that the teenagers like me. Remember kids - you'll be here one day too - much sooner than you can imagine. Enjoy your youth -- make the most of it.
