Tacos; Chilli or Manwich samwiches are the only way I will eat hambugar. Taco salads are great and you can skip the hambugar meat when you make them. . tacos too. Refried beans with lettuce, salsa . . cheese and sour cream. . . now you're talkin'!

Having been raised very much in "flyover country," I came to Mexican food only after I'd gone off to graduate school in Kansas City and encountered the various "Tex-Mex" type restaurants out there.

At which time I also discovered what those folks in the Midwest conceived "Italian" food to be.

Ye gods and Chef Boy-Ar-Dee....
