She is 3 ,she was so hungry i had to laugh ,she nipped my arm and ate all the rat pups i had! (not normal)

I love them. I especially love catching the nonvenomous ones near my house. lol It scares my mom though and she won't let me have one as a pet.

I catch and release near our house ................i bring them to my wife (who ALSO loves snakes) she checks them out and than tells me "ok,now let them go!"

I want a pet snake! I'd call it Ziggy :D I love snakes, I think they're adorable, but awesome at the same time

snakes are toxic to humans ..we get certain illnesses if we eat it on a regular basis..Why eat something so beautiful?

Sssssure I do. Where I live they are mostly garter snakes, which eat bugs, like mosquetos.

I'll take that as a yes. Snakes are useful creatures out here. They eat rats and insects. Most are non-poisonous and most are shy. They will do their best to avoid you.

For my fellow Texans. There is no such thing in the annals of Herpetology as a "chicken snake." There are rat snakes.
