I love snakes, and have had several as pets over the years. My favorite was a Surinam boa constrictor named Zach. He grew to nearly eight feet long and was as thick around as my biceps, but he was gentle and loved to be picked up and carried around.

You bet I do. They're like us in that they're misunderstood. There are 328 breeds of snakes in this world, but only 16 are poisonous.

snakes don't intrude in our territory ..humans do!...so don't fear them ...respect their part they play in the world ..Every living creature deserve the right to live without fear of conceited humans.

I'm scared of them and they startle me even when I know they will be there. My back yard is full of them regardless of the lawn etc. But I don't hurt them or want to see them suffer. I avoid lol

Love them. They are scaly! I've never ran into one in the wild though. Only seen them at the pet store or petted one that was owned.

I have had a few of different species, but my Burmese was the biggest. I got him a month out of the egg and now he is over 18 feet long.
