    My husband loves it as do many others but this baker does not like it. It is full of artificial color that gives it a red color. It is not natural to have a red cake. I love chocolate layer cake, brownies, coconut layer cake, Dobosh Torte, Sacher Torte, Gateau Opera, Black Forest Cake, Strawberry shortcake, notice, none has any color added and that's why I love them all, one slice at a time.

    Hellz yeah, indeed! I don't really think I've ever had any cake that I truly didn't like, though. Red velvet cake is amazing! There's a bakery in Indianapolis (where I'm from) that has these FABULOUS red velvet cupcakes. Oh man, those are fantastic! Sweets are my major weakness, though. It's typically best that I avoid them all together. Sooo tempting, though. :)

    I thought I did so I decided to make some red velvet cupcakes. I made about six dozen from scratch and was so excited to try one. Well, I tasted the first one and thought it was disgusting! I took most of them to my daughter and her family and they LOVED them, my husband loved them and then I decided to give it another try. They were okay but I wasn't in love with them. Everyone else still wants me to make more.
