With plenty of butter and salt. Or with a cheesy flavor.
Oh yes I forgot, add some candy (m&ms;, chocolate and/or peanut butter chips, gummy bears, candy corn) and I'm even happier.
Love my buttered popcorn! And then we have "Hurricane Popcorn", that's flavored with Furekaki (Japanese seasoning) and butter over your hot popcorn!!! OH SO GOOD!!!!
Sounds like you have a "popcorn heaven" place!!! Our specialty shops either have shaved ice with ice cream, oriental preserved seeds or popcorn with butter, oriental seasonings, colored popcorn (like in the movie theatres). But no cheddar cheese! For that, we have to get our popcorn from a CVS store. You're really lucky!!!
Please think of me the next time you're munching on your cheddar popcorn!!! Hmmm......never thought of ordering food over the internet. I should look this up! Thank you Steve!!!!
And that's a good thing too!!! I can't find this chocoloate truffle that I've been looking for in Hawaii, "Kron" truffles, made in Germany. Wonder if the company is still in business. It's been over 20-years since I last had some of their truffles! So now I'm looking for "popcorn" and "Kron" truffles on the internet!
Good idea! Yeah! Those "Kron" truffles were just "HEAVEN!!!!" That was the first time I ever had a truffle!!! So there must be other people here who also liked them too! You're so smart! Thank you!!!
I looked up the Kron chocolates and found them!!!!! Even saw a picture of the "funny looking shapes" of the truffles!!! (a touching moment for a chocoholic like me!!!!! actually, it was a THRILL!!!! LOL!!!!!) http://dessertguru.typepad.co...
Oh! I will need the "good luck!!!" By the time the truffles get to Hawaii from the mainland, they might be a bit melted..........but I sure hope not! Much too expensive to have the Kron Truffles ruined!!!!
I go back and forth between my two sisters' homes, so I have to find out EXACTLY where I'll be before I place my order. Can you just picture my Kron Truffles from the mainland sitting in the Hot Hawaiian Sun, on the steps until my sister comes home from work?????? OH NO!!!!!! If the candy is refrigerated, it'll probably be delivered by Fed Ex? I need to be at home for the delivery guy and sign for the package. At least I know there IS a company in the US where I can place an order! Geeze! I just thought of something: The 1/2lb. box is $30.00. By the time I pay for the special shipping charges for a refrigerated item, it'll probably cost me close to $100.00!!!!! YIKES!!!! I better TALK to the sales people before placing my order. I don't need to have a heart attack when I hear the total cost.......it could be over $100.00. (where's my defibrillator?????? QUICK!!!)
can you tell i'm a "super worrywart!" you're so right about being able to order just about anything via the internet! i never dreamed that one day i could do something like this, without having to leave my house!
Well, I'm "homebound" most of the time, due to my hip and leg not willing to co-operate with the rest of my body, so shopping on the internet is convenient for me. What I'd REALLY like to do is try this 24- coffee shop I just found in my local "dining out" section of the Sunday newspaper. (it's their breadpudding that i want to try!!!!) Unfortunately, my sister REFUSES to go inside of the place for me. (the place has LOTS steps......bad for me and my cane..... So, I guess I'll just have to make my own breadpudding.....I have a great recipe from a friend. Do you like breadpudding?
Really????? Home-made kind is the best! And it goes very well with coffee too! My cooking skills aren't the best, but I make some great desserts!!!!! (and i'm modest too!!!! lol!!!!!)
Also when my daughter makes microwave popcorn I hate the smell!
Oh yes I forgot, add some candy (m&ms;, chocolate and/or peanut butter chips, gummy bears, candy corn) and I'm even happier.
