Oh I forgot about that. The only way I like cling peaches is canned in heavy syrup, then put them with cottage cheese, and I even add a dollop of bleu cheese dressing. Good stuff.
Absolutely. Peach pie, cobbler, juice, you name it. When I was a kid, my grandmother used to take me outside to get fruit from the fruit and veggie peddler. He had a large cart that was horse drawn. He was a huge man and wore a giant, fruit stained apron. My grandmother bought a bag of cherries for me and some peaches. I ate the cherries very quickly and spit the pits onto the sidewalk. Then I got to the peaches. They were great. I get them occasionally but many have turned out to be mealy or hard or not so sweet. Too bad.
Nothing better than a fresh peach picked right off the tree on a warm afternoon. If you squeeze it a bit, peach nectar seeps out of where the stem was attached. Of course, plain old-fashioned peach cobbler with some cream on it is hard to beat for dessert, especially after Bar B Que! Peach Melba is a fine "classy" dessert. And what could be better for breakfast than a fuzzy navel! Yea... I guess I like peaches. Now who took my Blue Bell Peaches and Cream ice cream?
However you have to find the peach that is right for you. :) . If I just had a soft yellow peach I would have hit know. But since I had hard yellow and white peaches I can say YES.
