It all goes down a short bit and turns to salmon.
Then it swims upstream.
Does a bear live in the woods ?
I. L.O.V.E. LO.B.S.T.E.R ;0 )
Did you know that at one time there were laws on the books which prohibited the feeding of lobster to prisoners too often, it was considered cruel and unusual punishement
while in Culinary School,
I learned that since they are bottom feeders,
they were once considered a pretty lowly creature to eat, right ?
And kinda scarey too, in the over all scheme of things...
Kinda sad how something has to come close to extinction, before it's appreciated ;p
It's no wonder the prices are so unbelievable these days, in terms of lobster,
AND every thing ELSE in the world that's 'Livin'on the Edge' shall we say ?
Sometimes I wonder if the whole of society, has gone stark raving mad,
and 'over the top ' in pursuit of happiness ~ We're wiping thing out
left and right... Yeikes ~ an'Sorry, didn't mean to go 'sideways'
here, in conversation... hehehe ~ jus'sayin' ~ Peace ;0 )
A thing I find interesting in this context relates to prawns. Here in BC , Tiger Prawns brought in all the way from the other side of the Pacific are considered the premium prawn while the West coast here Spotted Prawns are quite abundant. yet far off across the ocean it is the Tiger Prawn which is shunned as 'inferior'.
To me it is mostly pretense. People want to be seen consuming the more exotic choice for it lends into the image of themselves they wish to project.... just sayin' :))
