Do You Like Getting Dressed Up?

I usually don't either-but every one in a while I like to feel extra attractive. I had no idea that was a stereotype..

ANd I am not a shopper either-it's about feeling extra hot.

Why should one want to feel attractive by dressing up, when one knows they're beautiful by just being themselves and with anything they wear?

It depends on my mood. If I've got a lot of time on my hands and I'm feeling happy, then I might wear a skirt or make-up or something. :s Nothing super fancy though, haha.

FINALLY! This is the first time I've come across another girl who despises getting dressed up like I do.

Ahah. All my friends love getting dressed up and stuff and im like do i have to wear a dress? And theyre like yeah..and im like oh. Im not going hhah.

That's happened to me(:
Like, for example: there's this annual "Dinner" of some sort at my school. I was new this year, but was told that everyone wore a dress to these things. I, of course, was not going to wear a dress...
I was the only one there with skinny jeans, a Paramore shirt and converse. And I picked that wardrobe about five minutes before leaving.

Mmk so here we have dances for 6-8 graders. Its more like a club though..and they r fun so i went to them all. But its not like a dressy thing. Like i said its like a club..it starts at 6:30 and all my friends would be like OMG ITS 3 oclock...were never going to get ready in time....and they brought five outfits for each other to judge, wore makeup, did their hair, and yeah. I was standing there in my skinny jeans and sweatshirt with my eyeline that i was already wearing. And theyre like arent u going to get ready?? And im like...i am. And my other friends like me. She grabs like a shirt and pants and leaves. And then we see my other friends there and they are like do u like my hair? And im like...wait..u did something to it... Lol. Meaning: they spent three and a half hours on stuff that disnt make them look diff..

No, but I love to see other people all dressed up in pretty clothes at events I have had to dress up to attend. lol

Yes, I would wear a suit and tie every day if I had the money.

I love occasions where I get to wear dresses.

I wear nice dresses but I because I don't wear make-up (I'm not allowed to) the pretty factor for me goes down.

Also, because of my braids, I can never do my hair a different hairstyle unless I have 10-24 hours to work on it.

I love my braids but I would to do more with my hair on short term notices.

I'm a long skirts and corsets girl, and I know how to thrift store shop like a pro, so I can get a lot of fancy clothes cheap. I do not dress up as much as I did in high school, but I still do whenever I get the energy.

HELL NAAAHHHHHHH. Getting Dressed Up is a waist of time. Just put something on and make sure it looks good enough. I'm not gonna waist my life time just to put on some close that may not be even worth it.

I have very few occasions to get dressed up, both because I just don't attend those types of events and because people are more casual now and don't get dressed p for parties. Sometimes I go to local amateur theatre. You will see quite a range of dress in the audience although most are casual. Staff Christmas parties are generally casual too and take place in someone's home. I like to wear skirts and dresses so I just do, even on ordinary days. I seem to be the only person in town who walks her dog while wearing a skirt.

I get to look mature in my clothing and actually look good once in a while. Without dress up events when would I get the chance to actually get a hair cut.

Even when I do dress up, I wear my Converse!
Running shoes are too informal for a special event. Converse looks cool and nothing is worth your feet being uncomfortable.
