I love fennel! It grows wild where I live. I always pick some to munch on when I walk my dog. But yes, it's better cooked up in a recipe.
Edit: It tastes like black licorice when eaten raw.

It's recently come to my attention that I love fennel. I've been cooking and eating it a lot. I know it's not very common, but if you've tried it, did you like it?
