Yes, if it's not "TOO CAKEY" . . . It's a Bread and NOT a Cake; thus, the chefs need to keep the sugar out of it. I mean some sugar is okay, but not so much that you can taste it.
Lots of butter or sorghum molasses, please. When the bread sits out a couple of days crumbled into a tall cold glass of buttermilk certainly hits the spot
