In Philadelphia where I grew up we had Cheese Fries and just wanted to know if other people like them or have ever tried them? RED

    But I would rather have them sans cheese. I don't like how the fries get soggy if you don't eat them fast enough.

    Why go half way? Have Montreal style poutine, then you will see how bland simply putting cheese on your fries is. ;)

    I never was a big fan of french fries myself, I've tried cheese fries and yeah they're good but talk about doubling down and clogging up the ole arteries...no thanks

    If you're going to go that way you might as well go big and have the chili cheese fries topped with some sour cream.

    I've never heard of them. I've eaten baked potato with cheese just not fries/chips with cheese on top.
