I've been camping in a cabin...actually it wasn't really a cabin it was more like a shack. There was no electricity or bathroom and it was really tiny; but I really had a lot of fun with me and my friends. It was really awesome.
Not real camping in the wilderness. When I was in college up north, I went camping with some friends but it was more like party time. I think we were in Indiana or Michigan and camped next to Lake Michigan. It was all young people and really wild. They also had showers and a place to eat that you could walk to from the camp area.
I don' know if that counts as camping but that's what we called it. Oh yea we slept in tents too.
We use to camp all the time, we have a Times Share, and can camp anyplace where there is on. Load up the back of the van grab the dog and off er go. It is so much fun.
I like camping at the Best Western, or Hyatt Regency and a few others, but not the tent in nature thing. I did plenty of it when I was younger and enjoyed it but now I like comfort and no dirt in the eggs.
that is not camping, Camping is putting up a tent in the mountain and living off the earth. Cooking with an open fire on a Coleman store and enjoying life.
I guess you did not read what I wrote. I said I did it plenty of it many times when younger. I lived within six miles of Shasta Lake in Redding California and used to camp by the lake or at Burney Falls and other places. Outgrew it and now enjoy traveling and cruising.
Yes I did read you, it doesn't matter if you did it when you where younger, I am 75 wheelchair bound (almost) and we still camp outdoors. And Shasta Lake is beautiful in the summer. We were there a few times.
Loved and it was cheaper!
