I like them...BUT i am confused at your choice of picture....The Wizard of Oz was only black and White at the beginning and the end....the bulk of the movie is shot in technicolour

There's nothing like the OLD CLASSICS ..
true talent .. to lead one's imagination into the plot, story .. scene ..
NO Need for cgi .. no need for flash/bang ..

This is what I PREFER for entertainment

(Just wish Hollywood will STOP RUINING The old classics with their endless (and horrifically awful) remakes)

I don't like them when they first start, but after I've watched for 10 or 15 minutes and my eyes adjust to seeing no color I'm okay with it. My wife says it's so natural watching in black and white, and I always ask her, have you ever actually seen the world around you without color? So it's not natural at all for our eyes to see that way, unless your color blind.

They bore the Hell out of me!! But it's not the being black & white part that bores me, but rather the fact that I find movies made "back then" so dull...the storylines from that era just don't interest or appeal to me in the slightest...eg "Breakfast at Tiffany's" (although it was colored with Technicolor), just bored the crap out of me & I never got the point of it, to be honest...& it must be an American thing to like "The Three Stooges" today as well, because I don't know anyone who likes it "down here", including me!!

I NEVER look for arguments upon this site, & you won't get one from me...but I really don't get what I wrote in my previous email that could offend ANYONE in any way!!!

The photography is more difficult. Lighting and shading are works of art. Color is easy; just flood the area with light. Black-N-white is more difficult and takes talent.
