Amazon is getting BIG. They may get "too big to fail." will we be bailing them out in a decade? I do alot of my shopping with Amazon but I do wonder if they can get so big that they control a market like Wal-mart does.
I do. However, when there was a small locally owned bookseller here, I bought my books from them. I also order books from a discount bookseller that works through the mail, though they usually only carry books that have been out for a while and their selection isn't overly broad. I do also buy things other than books from them as well because the selection of nearby shopping is basically limited to Walmart, grocery and drug stores.
Buy often there. Actually, Amazon is a marketplace (platform) where companies offer their stuff. So I buy in reality from them, mostly. Sometimes has Amazon themselves the best prize. And I can easily pay with my card
I have the Chinese version here and I have ordered something off the site before, it's a good place to get cheap stuff with good quality, so yeah, it's good, plus if you spend enough money on there, you don't need to pay the shipping fees. how awesome
After the Dan Cathy incident, the Amazon founder Bezos gave $2.5 million to support gay marriage in Washington. Apparently it's okay for one person to donate towards homosexual causes, not okay for heterosexual causes. I don't have $2.5 mill to make it a fair debate.. I like their options to make wish lists to write reviews, but the whole thing just left a sour taste so I've been shopping elsewhere. Found a few cheaper deals anyway.
