My mother once told me a little poem that I have kept in my head all these 6o plus years.

FALSE FRIENDS ARE LIKE AUTUMN LEAVES FOUND EVERYWHERE.
TRUE FRIENDS ARE LIKE DIAMONDS VERY PRECIOUS AND VERY RARE.

I have four people that are my best friends. For the last 3 years that I have been without a car these people have gone out of their ways to either let me use their vehicles or take me where I need to go.

I have tried to pay them when they drive me or my wife what little I can afford but they refuse it.

Learned a life lesson not too long ago that those who are thought to always be counted on may just disappoint you and those that are there and always be there, though you may not notice at first, that is the ones that are with you till your demise! <3

No one really, except maybe one of my sisters, but that`s great enough for me because one of my personal mottos is ( I am my own bestfriend) lol.
Been stabbed in the back too many times to even want to go there again. lol

Even though she calls, text me, and can come over anytime; she keeps on insisting that I get on Facebook so we can talk. LOL

I don't have a Facebook, so I don't know what makes it so great...besides finding people from the past(which I don't want to do). Did your friends ever come here and find you.

A handful of people have stuck with me through thick and thin. They love me and I love them. But there are NOT many true friends. Time proves their genuine love and friendship. The only thing that can separate us is death. My ex husband is one of my dearest friends. We are much better being friends than being married. Isn't that strange?? Victoria is another. She and I are like sisters. My sister in law is another true loving friend. We are always there for each other. I thank God for my little group of true friends.

Yes, I know who they are because they have been there for me when times were rough, and I've been there for them when they needed me. I know who to call when I need to vent, want to share a funny event, need a person to bounce ideas off of, or have them call me for advise. I have been blessed with truly wonderful friends.
